Overview of the SSWR Annual Conference

The UT College of Social Work is sending a large contingent of presenters to the 2018 Conference of the Society for Social Work Research.

• Sixteen of our faculty, students, and alums will be participating in 10 Oral Presentations.
• Thirty of our faculty, staff, students, and alums will be participating at 21 different Poster Presentations.
• Three of our faculty and alums will be presenting at 2 Workshops.

The SSWR Annual Conference offers a scientific program that reflects a broad range of research interests, from workshops on the latest quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to symposia featuring studies in child welfare, aging, mental health, welfare reform, substance abuse, and HIV/AIDS.

Our faculty, students, and alums are bringing honor to our college both by the large number of presentations that they are offering at this conference and by the quality and depth of the research that these presentations represent.
